What I’ve missed:
-Family
-Friends
-Feeling comfortable having 2 kids and being pregnant–I can’t tell you how many people have asked me if I was done and made comments that they couldn’t believe I was having another one (kind of rude actually!!!). I even had one lady say, “So…do you like kids?” No, I just thought I was supposed to populate the world myself…
-Having all our conveniences right at home–washer and dryer, furniture (we have a little, but not much), just lots of stuff you don’t really think about
-Being surrounded by LDS people–I know I take that for granted, but it’s just so comfortable where I live–not everyone is LDS and I love the people around here that aren’t still, they are my friends as well, but it’s just nice to have such a common thing among us!
-Internet access:)
What I haven’t missed:
-Cleaning a bigger area of house!
-Yardwork
-Bills
-Piano lessons and Lemon Squeezy orders:)
-I haven’t really missed all the distractions of life–yah, I missed emailing people, but really, it was so nice to just have my kids and family to focus on all the time!
I also realized that I really take Dillon for granted. I missed him so much and it was so great to be with him–I am thankful that this has been going on just for the fact that it has helped me appreciate him more. It’s funny how easily you can slip back into your own selfish ways, but hopefully I can remember how much I missed him and how he is everything to me!
Wednesday night was fun because our friends Smitty and April came over with their two kids–she’s due only 5 days after I am, so that’s fun too. They were on their way to CA for a wedding, so it worked out great! The kids all had a great time playing and we loved having someone we know come see us.
Makenna wanted to read Carson and Devon a story before they went to bed.

Hey Christie! Thanks for the nice compliment…I love the pictures you took of your boys and this one of them reading is great too!
