Craft Lake City. I was excited because Sabra and I got to meet Cheri from I Am Momma Hear Me Roar. She was very nice and super cute, as you can see (Sabra is also super cute:) ). The boys found some water to play in. And then Devon and Seth talked with their belly buttons to each other. We also rode Trax which the boys LOVED! _________________________________________________________________________ One more concert for the summer (not sure if it’s the last one or not). Forty Days at Benson Grist Mill: _________________________________________________________________________ Lagoon!!!! Seriously, we had SO MUCH FUN with the boys. It was their first time, and really, they had talked about going there so much recently. Devon kept saying, “I think I have enough money to go there, Mom” every time we drove past it. My dear friends watched Bailey and it worked out so great because we could really focus on the boys and just having a great, non-stressful time (we did miss our Bailey!). It was hot and busy, but it was so worth every minute. We loved it. I wish I didn’t get a HUGE headache and stomach ache the whole day—I’m just not the thrill-seeker as I used to be, ha ha ha! Right after we told them: The Bat was the first ride they chose. They were a bit scared. Eventually, Carson started asking, “Is it Boo scary, or Cry scary?” After the Terroride and The Wild Mouse, he said, “That one was both Boo and Cry scary. They are ALL Boo and Cry scary!” I just missed Dev’s hands up in this one. It was cute how fast they caught onto the “hands in the air” thing. And Devon screams like a girl—for fun and when he’s scared:). He screams, “Whoo!” Even when I say sound like a boy, so apparently that’s what he thinks a boy sounds like:). It’s pretty funny though. One of our favorite rides was the bumper cars. Before the trauma of The Wild Mouse. Seriously, that ride is crazy. Jerky and fast and looks like you’ll fall off. The boys sat in front of Dillon and I. They started off super excited. They ended up almost in tears and Devon WAS in tears, screaming, “Mommy! Mommy!” It was sad but also kinda funny. Before Rattlesnake Rapids. They loved that one as well. After The Wild Mouse, the boys stuck to Kiddieland. I don’t blame them. Carson did go on The Bat one more time with me, while it was dark (and considerably more scary in the dark!). I LOVE experiencing things like this with my kids—things that they are experiencing for the first time. It makes me so happy! _________________________________________________________________________ Sewed some fun bags. These are some of my favorite things I’ve ever sewed. Bailey helped: _________________________________________________________________________ Zoo with the Gublers. We decided that since school starts next week that we should do one last fun thing. I’m glad we went! The boys sure love their buddies. Bailey sure loves them too! It was so cute seeing the boys holding hands—I love that they aren’t too cool for that yet. I also LOVED hearing Bailey get so super excited about the animals and kept telling, “Look Mommy!” She knew quite a few of the animals. Super cute. I’m glad my kids have a bunch of good friends around here!
