Hawaii: Day Seven

January 17, 2012 By Christie

Our last day in Hawaii.  Is it pathetic that I almost cry looking at these?  It was that wonderful of a trip.  After packing up and leaving the condo, Dillon and I decided we wanted to at least lay on the beach a bit more while we were there, since we didn’t feel like we had enough of that.  DSC_0426-1DSC_0428-1 These kids on the beach made me miss our kids!  That little girl was probably Bailey’s age and I kept thinking how fun it would be to have our kids with us there for a little of the time. DSC_0430-1DSC_0437-1 What a handsome man I married. DSC_0442-1DSC_0446-1DSC_0458-1DSC_0461-1DSC_0452-1DSC_0468-1DSC_0470-1DSC_0473-1DSC_0481-1 I’m printing this next one off and putting it in our room probably for forever. DSC_0485-1 Dillon took a swim and I did not.  The water was too cold ;).  So I read. DSC_0491-1DSC_0494-1 DSC_0500-1 We drove back towards our condo but only to hang out with my mom and Karl around the hotel area.  It was very pretty! DSC_0503-1DSC_0504-1DSC_0510-1 As Dillon hopped up for me to snap this shot, we wearily looked around and he said, “I hope I’m not offending anyone by doing this!”  DSC_0512-1DSC_0514-1DSC_0544-1DSC_0548-1DSC_0551-1 Then we giggled at the water aerobics going on.  They were pretty hard core and I’m sure getting an awesome workout.  DSC_0554-1 They had a fun dolphin show going on. DSC_0562-1DSC_0570CIMG3390 Then we headed to downtown Kona again for dinner, but also wandered around for any last minute gifts we might need. DSC_0596-1DSC_0597-1DSC_0599-1 Dillon had to take a picture of the bell ringer for Christmas wearing shorts.  He explained that to the man (just so you know, ha ha!). DSC_0602-1DSC_0605-1 Then we sat down for our last meal at Bubba Gump.  It was really yummy and the sunset was beautiful. DSC_0608-1DSC_0611-1DSC_0614-1DSC_0618-1DSC_0632-1DSC_0634-1 I’d say go for the coconut shrimp.  I think we all decided that was the yummiest dish there. DSC_0638-1DSC_0640-1DSC_0642-1DSC_0646-1DSC_0648-1DSC_0652-1 We dropped by the temple one more time to see it at night. DSC_0658 And onto the plane we boarded to fly home all night! DSC_0661 I am pretty sure I would have stayed if these cuties could have been shipped out to us!  I was so happy to see them and we hugged and hugged.  Thanks a billion times over to all those who watched them!  It was so nice not to have to worry about them the entire time!  DSC_0664 Ahhh….what a wonderful trip! So happy we were able to go! I highly recommend it ;).

I'm sad your trip is over too… I'm going to miss seeing your pics from Hawaii. You may need to go back just to blog about it. :) You guys looked like you had a blast. And I love seeing your mom so happy. I always loved your mom… such a neat lady. Thanks for sharing Chrisite! :)

I so want to go back!

The "my dog has fleas" picture made me laugh. Ashley can tell you exactly what it's for.

    Love your pictures!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
