Memorable Moments: March 2012

April 1, 2012 By Christie

We were singing along to some kid songs in the car. Bailey was patting her piggy stuffed animal and singing along. She said "Mommy. Can you believe it!? I’m patting my piggy!" We walked outside and the lake smell was strong. The boys left for school two hours before we were out there, but Bailey said, "It stinks. I think Carson tooted." I tell Bailey she can’t go past the fire hydrant at the corner of our yard. So she goes outside and says, "I won’t go past the high rider." Bailey calls capri suns, Saprinas. She can’t remember what they are called so she’ll also try Sapri Suns. Dillon went outside to clean his car. Bailey opened the door and yelled, "Are you going to be ok without me?" I love how my kids say "conservation hearts" rather than conversation hearts. And yes we still have some of those around from the sales after Valentine’s Day! Bailey will say things, making a plan for things she wants, and always end with, "Deal?" Or if I ask her to do something after she is finished eating or something, she’ll smile and say, "Deal." I love it! Bailey wanted to watch a show and I suggested Bob the Builder since she had never seen it. She said, "No, because Bob is rude and ridiculous!" I told Carson his new nickname on my LS blog was Mr. Zippy and asked if he remembered what Zippy meant (I had talked about it with him before). He said, "Yah! Smart and Educated!" We were in Target and Bailey saw some Easter decorations. She gasped, grabbed one, ran down the aisle towards me as fast as she could come, and said, "LOOK! It’s EGG VALENTINE’S!" Devon and the kids were watching one of his first b-day DVD’s so he was a baby in them and there were quite a few cute pictures of Carson and Devon being pals. Devon said, "There’s my best buddy! And we’re still best buddies now!" I went out to the van to grab something after we had just come home. Bailey opened the door and yelled, "Have fun going out to the van!"

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
