Visit With Dad

January 5, 2008 By Christie

My dad came to visit after Christmas, and we all had a great time. We had a few get togethers with everyone. These pictures are from the one at our house. It just so happens that Dillon, my dad, Eric, Paul, and Ryan all play the guitar (Greg, do you play as well but keep…

This is all you get from Christmas so far…

January 5, 2008 By Christie

until we find the dumb plug-in for that camera. Sigh…Anyways, Christmas was fabulous. I will just add pictures later. If it wasn’t for our families, we’d have had a very low-key Christmas, but they spoiled our kids rotten. People are so generous!!! We got our kids some play food, some lightning slippers, and some flashlights….

Christmas Eve

December 31, 2007 By Christie

Every year the Hurst party is the Saturday or Friday before Christmas, and my family does something Christmas Eve. This year was fun with the chimes that Dirk’ s fiance brought. Aunt Sandy did her usual White Elephant game, only she gets really good presents for the kids, totally spoils them:). I’ll have pics of…

Once again, the Children’s Museum

December 31, 2007 By Christie

I have a feeling we will be going there a lot this winter, just to get out of the house. I still have a pass if anyone wants to get someone in for free:). Help us get our money’s worth!!! Devon is moo’ing in that picture–it’s a pretty funny pic of him!

There’s nothing like a great cousin…

December 31, 2007 By Christie

to sleep under the kitchen table with. Devon loves his cousin Jake. We spent a long (sorry again guys, I know it was totally burning out our welcome!) day at Melanie and Ryan’s place. We need to do it more often. Jake and Devon are a bit mischievous together, but they are very fun to…

Temple Square

December 31, 2007 By Christie

Sorry the pictures are so dark! We went to see the lights at Temple Square 2 Wednesdays ago (so the 19th). This year was a lot more fun than last year. It wasn’t freezing cold like it has been lately, so it was just right for walking around. It was a great night! Riding Tracks

I Believe in Miracles

December 24, 2007 By Christie

I really do, I know that sounds cheesy for Christmas time but WOW! My mom was in an awful car accident this morning. And left the scene with a few bumps and bruises (that we know of so far. She seems to be doing fine besides achy with a headache). I am truly thankful for…

Just Because…

December 19, 2007 By Christie

So I wanted to have a new post, and I kept thinking of Carson’s famous “Super Why” outfit that he likes to go public with. I love it. I just can’t get enough of it.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
