Bailey’s Preschool Graduation

May 10, 2013 By Christie

I was invited by a friend in the ward to join their preschool group, so just once a week our group of five cute kiddos had preschool, meaning we only taught as moms once every five weeks.  It was a great arrangement and Bailey really had fun.  Next year I will put her in a…

Walking Rosco and Kite Flying in the backyard.

May 7, 2013 By Christie

Bailey’s new found joy is walking Rosco in the backyard.  He’s such a good sport to let her ;).  As soon as it’s windy, Devon is always asking to fly his kites!

Football

May 5, 2013 By Christie

I love how if the boys do something, Bailey wants to join.  Carson decided to take his shirt off for football playing and so Bailey did the same and was very much into it.  Carson was a good sport and playing with her and letting her off easy—sometimes.  ;) Carson making a touchdown and Bailey…

Pellet Guns in the Back

May 5, 2013 By Christie

Grandpa Jerry gave the boys some pellet guns and they love them so much!  Dillon loves that they can just practice shooting in the back together with him and he bought them a fun battleship target so they could sink ships and stuff. The kids love it.

Devon’s Baptism

May 5, 2013 By Christie

Well Dillon made it home after a month of being gone.  Yay!  We really love having him home again.  Which meant we could finally have Devon’s baptism! Devon asked Grandpa Jerry to baptize him.  When we were going through his baptism book, it had a part about choosing who to baptize you.  When it mentioned…

Memorable Moments: April 2013

May 1, 2013 By Christie

-Every time Bailey talks with Dillon on the phone while he’s been in Florida, she ALWAYS tells him she is saving him 14 marshmallows and 14 hugs and 14 kisses.  Every time. -We watched Wreck it Ralph.  In it, when the little girl and Ralph make her car, and it ends up looking like crap? …

April Phone Photos

April 30, 2013 By Christie

My mom had us over for a fun day and sleepover during spring break.  I love my mom.  (she won).  The kids played some noodle hockey in her back yard and had a blast. I accidentally made dentist appointments during spring break too.  oops!  Just a bunch of crazy seagulls hanging out in the field…

Projects around here.

April 30, 2013 By Christie

I wanted to share some of the sewing or craft projects I’ve done lately, just because I like them ;).  They are all on my craft blog but I wanted to have them here, too.  Lots and lots of burp cloths for the many many pregnant people I know. A scripture case for Devon with…

Belly snuggles, Adventure Kids, Blocks, and Playing for Potato Bugs

April 22, 2013 By Christie

These are a few of my favorite things… When my kids snuggle up and feel the baby moving.  Love love love it. When my kids make themselves into a club called the Adventure Kids and get along for long segments of time.  When my kids work together as a team. And when Bailey catches potato…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
