Craft on Wednesdays

November 4, 2011 By Christie

We’re trying a new thing around here so that Devon can look forward to a craft at least once a week.  All my kids love them, but that kid especially does!  And with the holidays here, it is really easy to find fun crafts for them to do each Wednesday.  They won’t let me forget,…

a birthday dress for my three year old.

November 4, 2011 By Christie

I added four inches to the pattern and it’s still too short, which is why she’s wearing leggings and will have to as long as it fits. I like this picture because she fell and I love that she still looks at me to see if it’s serious. Trying to show me how old she…

Scenes from Conference Weekend

November 4, 2011 By Christie

I love conference weekend!  My house tends to be a disaster, but it’s so nice to take it easy and spend more time with the kids and feel so uplifted!  Since then, I’ve been trying to read a conference talk a day for the last month (from last conference) and it has been so great! …

Rockin’ Out

November 4, 2011 By Christie

Rockin’ out on her $5.00 DI find.  She LOVES LOVES LOVES the heck out of this horse.  She rides it every single day, multiple times a day. Rockin’ out to the marching band for the pretty lame high school parade (sorry if anyone thought it was totally rad—because we didn’t). And rockin’ out with Bailey’s…

Celebrating Bailey’s Birthday (major picture overload)

November 4, 2011 By Christie

Chuck E. Cheese!  She had a blast here!  And so did the boys of course.  I can’t imagine how old those creepy singing puppets are!!!  They don’t really work anymore.  Basically they turn on the TV for the birthday entertainment (for those cool enough to pay more money for that…) Devon and Carson were not…

Slowly but Surely

October 18, 2011 By Christie

Slowly but surely I’ll get some posts up!  Even if they are just a couple pictures!  I still have a lot of catching up to do though.  Maybe one post a day until I’m caught up will be a good goal, since they don’t take a long time individually.  It’s just thinking of it all…

Old Stomping Grounds

October 4, 2011 By Christie

Four of my old roommates from BYU and I got together a couple weeks ago.  It is always so fun to catch up with them (not picture yet….Alvey?  Her name is really Tiffany, but we’ll never call her that—two Tiffany’s in a dorm will do that)  Well, Alvey and I talked a bit about how…

Rosco and our kids

October 4, 2011 By Christie

My kids love Rosco, and despite some of his naughty antics, I do love the dog and how great he is with our kids.  I mean, how many other dogs will allow an 8 and 6 year old to ride him like a bull?  My kids ALL love him, but these pictures are of Bailey…

Memorable Moments September 2011

October 4, 2011 By Christie

Devon had a drink of hot chocolate while we were at the hotel for breakfast in St. George. I asked if it was hot, and he answered, “Yes, it is SO hot. I thought it was going to come out of my ears!” My sweet Grandma asked Bailey how old she was while we…

Ice Cream Truck!

October 4, 2011 By Christie

Over a month ago Dillon gathered a bunch of quarters and told the kids that the next time the ice cream truck passed, they could get one.  One time I was in the back jumping on the trampoline with Bailey and ran as fast as I could inside to tell them, but we missed it. …

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
