May 26, 2009 By Christie

Here we all are, at the annual Grandfolk Brinkerhoff’s house to help with their yard work. It is always a lot of fun!

bailey: peacemaker and nurturer by divine nature

May 20, 2009 By Christie

Devon was at it again. Another fit. After a long day of running errands and Dillon not home to help put the kids to bed, my patience was running thin. Devon had fallen asleep on the way home from Salt Lake, in the middle of eating his lunchable–which was dinner. I had told them that…

books!

May 18, 2009 By Christie

I love books! I love reading, when I can find the time–which is always the key. My boys love books too. I enjoy getting books from the library for them about any topics they’ve shown interest in. Carson’s totally into inventions, so we got a fun book about a little boy who loved to invent…

playing peek-a-boo I love the way Bailey shakes the keys so seriously, passing it from hand to hand, shaking it as hard as she can, only to pass it again to the other hand and do it again and again. I love the way she’s started to play peek-a-boo when I’m doing my hair in…

coupons and price match and all sorts of good deals!

May 15, 2009 By Christie

OK, first thing’s first: My friend Dezi and my friend Lori have both been a big part in my inspiration for doing this whole coupon stuff. Along with their examples and great website referrals, and also along with the grocery guru (as seen on Good Things Utah–he came to our RS a while back), I…

i love dillon because…

May 14, 2009 By Christie

He seriously keeps me laughing. This might be repeated over and over, because he just does! The other night we walked into our room ready to go to bed, and I realized that the 4 loads of laundry I had washed were left on our bed, unfolded. Sighing, I said something about the never-ending task…

quick before and after

May 13, 2009 By Christie

I do NOT like our computer room. I was about to say hate, but that’s a little strong because I am thankful we have a finished room in our basement, but seriously, it’s pretty ugly. The people before us finished it themselves, and they did some strange strange things to it, like make the wall…

happy mother’s day!

May 10, 2009 By Christie

Happy Mother’s Day to all the women I know! There isn’t one of you who isn’t a mother figure to everyone around you, and I appreciate your great examples! The boys (and Dillon included) were excited to bring me breakfast on the couch. I had to get up early with Bailey so that made bringing…

girls night out

May 8, 2009 By Christie

My mom and sisters (in-law too) had a girls night out last night. I didn’t bring my camera, but I just wanted to remember a few things from the night, so I’ll write key words since it won’t make sense to anyone but us pretty much: “Kiss my what?!”, sit-ups, push-ups, Rachelle and kit-kats, wax…

carson happenings

May 8, 2009 By Christie

Carson has had a lot going on these days that I’ve wanted to blog about. First, he’s pretty much obsessed with Diego from Go Diego! Go! So he wears his church vest inside out and drew a little world badge and says he wants to be an animal rescuer. This is him climbing a “vine”….

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
