Occasionally I get this strong desire to blog at 2:30 in the morning…

December 10, 2007 By Christie

Okay, no, but yes, I am a little nutty. I will probably be pretty ornery tomorrow too, but I finished our stockings!!! I have put this off for the last 6 years, and got the urge to be productive tonight, um, last night I mean. So, this is what I did! I decided I better crack down on the stockings since Carson saw some in the store and said, “Hey! These are the stockings we’re missing!” I always put them up, just some I bought in the store, no names on them or anything. So this month I had already started the names on some other stockings, thus the white fluffy stuff I just cut off, but wanted to stick with tradition and use felt (okay, that might be a lie—the names were incredibly crooked and this is how I saved them, but I’m glad I botched them and ended up on felt). My grandma made her families stockings out of felt, much prettier than these, and my mom made ours as well, also more desirable than these, but I lack the talent and patience to make them look as good as they did theirs. I did, however, have to cut out all the shapes with no template or anything, so besides the reindeer looking like a dog, the rest are okay. These will have to do. They aren’t perfect, but I am just thrilled to have them done after this long of procrastinating!!! I’m excited for my kids to see them in…5 hours. :(. Sob! I’m going to bed!

Yay, they are so cute! Good for you! Now, as long as you don’t have any more children, you will never be behind on Christmas stockings again!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
