Carson’s teacher told us that he was a model student academically. Every time I ask him if he was good at recess and nice to the other kids, he’s started to say, “Come on? I’m a model student! A model student wouldn’t do bad things at school!”
When I was at TOFW, Dillon said Bailey found one of my shirts and started to hug it and smile and hug it some more.
Dillon woke up to see Devon next to a present Grandma Whitelock gave him for Christmas. Devon was saying a prayer. He was clasping his hands, looking up, and said, “Please bless it can be Christmas RIGHT NOW!” He really wanted to open his present. Isn’t that great?
Devon feels liks such a big boy at preschool when I just drop him off like I do Carson. It’s really cute to see him get his stuff, give me a hug and kiss, and walk away like he is so proud of himself for being so big. I love it!
Carson was so proud of me when I was his helper. I just loved how sweet he was with his friends in Kindergarten. He was so excited and told everyone that I was his mom. I loved it. He’d turn around, smile, blow me kisses, etc. It was so dang cute. I just love that he was so proud of me:). I wish it’d last forever! When he got home from school, he said, “Boy mom, you were sure a great helper!”
Tonight Carson asked me very seriously, “Mom, before you got married, did you live in a castle that had a dragon?” I said No, and “How old do you think I am?” He thought for a minute and said, “SIXTEEN!”
I asked Devon how he was feeling since we left church early because he was feeling sick. I said, “So, how do you feel?” He said, “Pretty much feelin’ real sick.”
Carson has now lost 5 teeth. He said to me this morning after his 5th one, “Well, I’m back into losin’ teeth again!” Pretty excited about it all.

That's so cute! At least Devon was being good about not opening his gift right then and there. It's so hard being a kid sometimes.
