Circus Circus!!!

June 27, 2008 By Christie

On the 14th, we took the boys to Circus Circus. Carson especially LOVED it–they both actually won some stuff too, so that was fun. We promised we’d go one more time before leaving Reno for good, and he just can’t wait until that day comes. Devon won with some help from Dillon on the Chicken…

A Bad Case of the Why’s and What Happens if…

June 27, 2008 By Christie

Something happened this weekend–my kids finally discovered the great use of the word “Why”. Carson also really likes to say, “What happens if… (we eat too much candy, we get in a car wreck, we don’t drink water, etc.) Carson’s questions are a bit deeper than Devon’s, like why is Satan bad, and why can’t…

Happy 30th Birthday Dillon!!!

June 27, 2008 By Christie

What a treat it was that we didn’t miss Dillon’s b-day (June 12th)! I am a slacker though, and didn’t feel great that night so didn’t take any pictures–still kicking myself over that one:(. Dillon looked especially hot that night too… The kids and I made him a cake and decorated as well as we…

First Day in Reno!!!

June 27, 2008 By Christie

So, I admit, I was kind of sad the first night we arrived in Reno, leaving family and friends and our whole house behind was a little difficult for me, but knowing that we got to be with Dillon made it so much better. My kids really need their dad to whip them back in…

Driving to Reno…

June 27, 2008 By Christie

What a long not-so-pretty drive. Reno is cooler (temperature-wise) than you’d think. I doubt it broke 90 degrees while we were there! Plus, they have a river that makes it really green and tons of trees surprisingly! So first day driving there–Dillon had the DVD player for the car, so that was fun trying to…

Reno, Here We Come!!!

June 9, 2008 By Christie

So it worked out that the company Dillon’s boss got this job with is paying for an apartment for us to live there with him since this is looking like a summer-long thing. It’s been hard having him gone and we all miss him dearly, so I am really excited to be able to go…

98 Days To Go!

June 6, 2008 By Christie

Okay, so this was supposed to be the “100 days to go” post, originally, but I was too tired to try and look like I at least showered for that day, and now it’s past midnight on the 99 days to go, thus the weird number you see there! (I’m not being vain making these…

Either I’m Desperate…

…or just really stupid to let them do this. I’ll stick with “I’m desperate to have them entertain themselves for a few minutes!”

Photo Shoot with my Boys

June 2, 2008 By Christie

Saturday was the annual “Help Grandma and Grandpa with yardwork” event–there were a ton of us there, which always makes it a fun time. Their yard is so beautiful and I haven’t ever gotten around to taking Devon’s 3 year old pictures (he ALWAYS has some owie on his head and I keep waiting for…

Wendover fun!

June 2, 2008 By Christie

Friday I dropped the boys off at Janina’s and Greg’s (thank you!!!) and went to Wendover with my family to see Collin Raye. It was really a great time. We rode the Fun Bus there, which is a great deal plus a fun time (it better be fun if they claim that name!). The other…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
