I Love Family Night

May 28, 2008 By Christie

Okay, so just when I think I’m gonna blow up for the 56th time during the day and the last thing I want to do is have FHE, I think to myself that it is so important and why would I not do it for my family’s sake, so tonight we had a little family…

Texas Trip!

May 26, 2008 By Christie

My sisters and I had a blast visiting my Dad this past weekend in Dallas. He took us to a few places and we met some of his friends and ate a LOT of yummy food. My dad totally spoiled us and is such a gentleman! It was so much fun hanging out with my…

Settlement Canyon

May 21, 2008 By Christie

I’ve felt a bit like I’ve been not taking the time to just focus on my kids this last week, and decided I just needed to get away from the never-ending house-work and other things that occupy my time or distract me. So tonight the boys and I got a pizza and headed up the…

First Swim of the Year!

May 18, 2008 By Christie

It has been BEAUTIFUL lately, even too hot today! But I’m definitely not complaining:). I love it–I can’t stand being cold, so spring/summer/fall is great–anything above 72 degrees (74 when I’m not pregnant). Yea for warm weather!!!

Recipe Theme of the Week

May 17, 2008 By Christie

Erin came up with a great idea to help us think of a recipe we like that has to do with a theme for the week on the Eat it and Weep blog. I will try and change the theme on Mondays each week. If anyone has anything that they’d like to see as a…

Sniffle sniffle…

May 14, 2008 By Christie

How do people have their spouse travel and deal with it well? My goodness–I’ve totally taken for granted that Dillon doesn’t travel–yah, he works awful hours and sometimes only gets to see the kids for an hour before bed, and other weeks only sees them a couple times a week, then works on weekends as…

Blog Printing

May 14, 2008 By Christie

I often think that this blogging thing is great, but how sad it would be to lose all this info. I’ve looked up a little about blog printing and haven’t found much to anwer my questions on it—it seems like basically you just have to do most of the work and I don’t know how…

Some Random Catching Up

May 13, 2008 By Christie

So yesterday we had to take Devon to the doctor cause his croup was getting so bad (just came on actually Sunday night). He had to get a steroid shot and some breathing treatment where he had to where a mask. Carson was very protective of him. As soon as the nurses came in he…

I hate computers!!!

May 12, 2008 By Christie

So, our hard drive on our old computer got messed up–luckily nothing was gone forever, and luckily I have a smart brother and other smart family members that came to the rescue. Thanks so much Ryan and Mel for all your time and Ryan for your smarts at working on it and letting us use…

These are a few of my favorite things…

May 7, 2008 By Christie

Gardening!!! I have no green thumb by any means, but I sure love spring time and planting flowers and a vegetable garden. I’m trying heirloom tomatoes this year–I’ve heard they are so much better, so I’m stoked. I’ve planted so many things that Dillon already teases me that by the time I can actually harvest…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
