Escape Artist {Video}

January 14, 2016 By Christie

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-28l2-rLQQs&feature=youtu.be This little girl keeps us on our toes! A few months ago (before we moved), she had started to climb out onto the rocking chair, but once we moved the chair she wasn’t able to climb out, and it bought us some more time. Today she got out over and over. I knew that even…

December 17, 2015 Donation Trip!

December 31, 2015 By Christie

It’s donation time again! This time it marks 2 years since Ruby’s open heart surgery! I can’t really explain just how much this visit to Primary Children’s Hospital means to me! My kids help out, they are happy, I am happy, we are all happy at the hospital as we eat our cafeteria food that we actually really…

Beautiful Sleeping Babe

December 30, 2015 By Christie

I LOVE when Ruby falls asleep at naptime or bedtime before I put her in her crib. I love holding her while she sleeps. Complete with grape jam on her face :). Isn’t she just beautiful though?

Halloween 2015

November 11, 2015 By Christie

What a fun Halloween! Carson was Gandalf (though at times slightly resembled a crazy homeless man), Devon was a creepy thing with red eyes that faded in and out (he always likes to be things that are more scary), Bailey was a Pegacorn–that’s what she kept calling it ;), and Ruby was Princess Sofia the…

Donations!

November 1, 2015 By Christie

I want to give a HUGE shout out to two ladies who really know how to make this girl smile. Erin of Brooklyn Pattern Company was so wonderful and sent an amazing package of 6 heart lovies and a few happy circle garlands ready to donate to Primary Children’s Hospital. It makes my heart so happy knowing there are…

Dev’s Talk

October 12, 2015 By Christie

A couple months ago Devon wrote a really sweet talk for church that I wanted to have record of. It was all him :). “Have you ever felt a nice comforting feeling or something to warn you about something? I know I have several times. That warm feeling is the Holy Ghost and it speaks…

Bailey {speaking a bit of French and reading a book}

October 11, 2015 By Christie

I want to post more videos of my kids. They love looking at all the pictures but it’s the videos that they love the most when they come on this blog. I love this video of Bailey because you can see her personality so well!

3 Quilts donated!

October 8, 2015 By Christie

I’m so excited that I’ve received more donations! And this time from my sweet Mom again. She donated fabric and stuffed animals already and I so appreciate her love and support in something that matters a lot to me! So cute and perfect. I don’t tie quilts very often but was able to last week…

Watch and Wait and See

October 3, 2015 By Christie

Ruby had her cardiology check-up last Friday and overall it went great! She had just an X-ray this time and her cardiologist listened to her heart for a while. Her cardiologist feels like her aneurysm isn’t going to cause any immediate problems, maybe not even until she’s into her 20’s. There is a possibility that…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
