Grantsville Old Folks Sociable

March 29, 2010 By Christie

I believe this was the 126th Sociable held in Grantsville. It was started to honor fathers and mothers, and the first one was in 1884. Isn’t that awesome? Since I’ve known Dillon, including our dating years, he has been in the Sociable every year except one.  He and his friend Joseph played in the show,…

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

March 18, 2010 By Christie

We had a fun day yesterday. I didn’t do as much as I wanted, but we had a fun day anyways. The kids woke up and followed a green string all around the house until they found their treasure. My friend Sabra gave me this idea about dyeing the toilet water green. They thought that…

My New Haircut

March 18, 2010 By Christie

If only I could style it like they do on that first day… It’s a fun change. It’s been so WEIRD getting used to bangs, though. Or I guess they are now called a fringe or something. Whatever. Still bangs. P.S. I debated whether or not to post this picture because I’ve got issues. But…

March 9, 2010 By Christie

I have 4 stories to share, that really just made my love for my boys grow even more. And I want to remember these forever and ever:). 1) The day after Dev’s b-day we went to the store. Carson had grabbed Devon’s balloons even though I had asked him not to, and took them with…

Devon turned 5 yesterday. FIVE!!!! Can you even believe it? We had a super fun filled day! We started off letting him eat some chocolates for breakfast:). He had his friend party in the afternoon. We played pin the eye on the alien. We made UFO’s. You can see Dev is trying to pop his…

Guess not. Freezing day at the park. We even attempted to ride our bikes home from Carson’s school and the bikes ended up in the van. It started out well!Maybe next week?

Memorable Moments February 2010

February 28, 2010 By Christie

-Bailey just grabbed a bag of candy, looked at it, then me, and started backing up waving and saying, “Bye.” -Instead of saying our mouth has gums, Carson and Devon say they are our guns. Carson informed me today that if we don’t brush our teeth, our guns and teeth will fall out. -I was…

Dev and Daddy’s night out

February 27, 2010 By Christie

They had a lot of fun too:). Of course, I don’t have near as many details because I didn’t go, but they went to Denny’s when the kids get a free meal, then to Rock Star Pets and CAL Ranch! Here is Devon’s new sweet move. He said, “Mom, you gotta see this!” and hoisted…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
