California: Day One

October 19, 2012 By Christie

We spent the whole first day in California Adventure.  It wasn’t very busy so that was great.  Disneyland was much much much more busy!  Please appreciate Dev’s abnormal elbow bend in the picture below.  That’s the cool stuff that happens when you break your elbow, I guess. The thing about being morning sick (or all-day…

Disneyland: The Trek Down

October 18, 2012 By Christie

We surprised the kids with a vacation to California!  I’d been wanting to take them to Disneyland for ages, and we found a great deal through a guy in Bountiful, thanks to my cousin!  I bid on a super cheap hotel, but it was walking distance to Disneyland, and we just had a great time. …

Eric and Michelle’s Wedding!!!

October 13, 2012 By Christie

These two are so cute together.  I’m so happy my brother found such a great person to marry.  We’re so excited for them both and to have her as part of our family! Here are just some pics we took on the way up to the Bountiful Temple before the sealing. The happy couple.  They…

First Day of Preschool!

October 5, 2012 By Christie

We don’t normally sign our kids up for two years of preschool because of the cost, so we weren’t going to with Bailey either.  She was pretty bummed though after hearing her friends all talk about starting preschool in the fall.  In fact, when she heard one of her younger friends were in preschool, she…

Memorable Moments: September 2012

September 30, 2012 By Christie

-Devon said to this boy at the park: “Guess what? My dad can climb trees without any branches, just the stem.” The boys said something back to him about his dad and Devon replies, “Niiice.” -Carson was telling us his news at FHE. “Well..l’ll be 12 soon.” -Devon has his new glasses and got home…

Glasses!

September 26, 2012 By Christie

We knew it wouldn’t be long before Devon had to get glasses as well!  And he looks great in them! Carson got new glasses as well, so he wanted to be in a picture as well.

Writing

September 22, 2012 By Christie

Bailey has started to write a bunch of letters on her own.  I think it’s awesome!   Devon might someday hate that I’ve documented this, but I think it’s adorable that he uses hearts in place of his v’s. Plus he’s trying to write his name in cursive these days (they learn it in 3rd…

Butterfly Party

September 18, 2012 By Christie

Invitations and Party Favors I made the invitations with picmonkey and just printed them off at home since the photo lab I used was having problems.  I saw these fun butterfly treat bags on a few websites.  I filled mine with that red party string stuff because it was a ton of candy in…

Bailey’s 4th Birthday!

September 18, 2012 By Christie

Can she really be 4?  So sad!  This little bundle of personality is such a joy to have in our home!  We are so blessed with our Bailey Rae. Here are some pictures from her special day.  She had a party on her birthday that I’ll post about after this post.  Watching her birthday DVD…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
