Witches’ Night Out

October 22, 2007 By Christie

“Oh, so that’s what you guys call it.” Kate’s husband said that after she told him what we were doing for our girls night out this month. I’m sure all our hubby’s will catch on to that one. Dandy. It was really fun (as always!) to hang out and get a night out without our…

Last Game for The Dragons!

October 22, 2007 By Christie

And they won every game. Carson decided about a third of the way into the season that he really didn’t like soccer, so he wouldn’t really play. But the last practice he LOVED it (of course) and was so excited to dress up for his last game, since they were told they could wear their…

Ogden Dinosaur Park

October 22, 2007 By Christie

What a great time to go to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. The boys picked this for their fun thing after they earned it this month, and although it was an insane drive there, an hour, and $14.00 for just the 3 of us to get in, the boys loved it. I decided once a…

It’s the Great Pumpkin!

October 11, 2007 By Christie

We got 10, yes 10 pumpkins out of our sorry excuse of a garden this year. The boys loved going out to help pick our pumpkins–they were especially proud because they planted the seeds. And yes I did count that tiny green one you see here. These things are heavy!!!

Milwaukee Bucks 90, Utah Jazz 81

October 11, 2007 By Christie

Dillon’s boss gave us some tickets to a couple games, so we decided we’d take turns taking one of the boys with us. I took Devon last night. It was fun, and luckily he didn’t freak out with the cheering, just stood really really still when he first heard it. Then he cheered every time…

Superheroes to the Rescue!!!

September 10, 2007 By Christie

Carson is 4!!! Yesterday was his birthday, and Saturday (after his soccer game below) was his superhero party! He loved it, and I think the other kids had a lot of fun as well. It was really fun to plan too! First while everyone arrived we colored pictures of bad guys. We went outside to…

Goal!

September 10, 2007 By Christie

So flippin’ cute watching Carson’s first soccer game. Go Dragons! They won 6 to 2. Carson even scored a goal! It was just great, watching them all (even teammates) fight over the ball but having so much fun doing it! This picture to the left is after he scored:).

Heber Valley Camp

September 10, 2007 By Christie

This was great! The second year we’ve gone here, and this time was a blast like before. Our favorite part is the obstacle course. I didn’t get a picture of Dillon doing it though:( because, well, Devon had a bit of an accident and so I was busy with him and Dillon went SO FAST…

Alvey’s Baby Shower

August 23, 2007 By Christie

It was so great seeing all the old roomies, and a treat to have Alvey back in Utah for a while! Alvey is having a girl, so it was super fun being able to shop for her! Dezi and I decided it’s better that we don’t have girls because we’d be spending way too much…

Thanksgiving Point Farm and Children’s Gardens

August 23, 2007 By Christie

What a fun place! We ended up only being us and Janina with her Emma and Elise. It was a good chance to talk a little bit more though.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
