My Sweet Kids

November 23, 2010 By Christie

I don’t know what it was, but last week my kids were absolutely heavenly.  I think Heavenly Father knew I needed it or something.  There were chores done without asking, sweet words spoken to each other, asking kindly for someone to stop doing something, getting treats for each other, cleaning up for each other, covering…

Niner!

November 19, 2010 By Christie

Yesterday Dillon and I celebrated nine wonderful years together.  I’m so happy he chose me.  It’s really amazing how much you can grow together through all your ups and downs!   I was pleasantly surprised to find this leaf on our thankful tree yesterday.  Aw, how sweet :).  We celebrated by going to Rodizio Grill.  That…

Turkey Shirts and Thankful Tree

November 17, 2010 By Christie

The kids and I had a fun time making these turkey shirts.  Devon’s teacher Mrs. G always loves his shirts and has him stand in front of the whole class to show them.  He loves it of course! I didn’t get a picture of Carson’s hands painted.  Something about trying to keep Bailey from touching…

First Snow that Stuck

November 14, 2010 By Christie

I must say it was quite magical to live through the first snow of the season with Bailey.  Walking out into it was even happier.  Her bright eyes spoke so well the excitement she felt with the new snow.  She was giggling and really so curious about it.    It was magical to re-live…

Barbies and Best Friends

November 14, 2010 By Christie

I got out my barbies so my friend Sabra could model her latest sewing lesson on one of them.  Bailey and Jonas were quite mesmerized.  I haven’t seen these barbies out of their box for YEARS.  It was fun to see them all again!      I thought it was funny that Bailey had the…

Memorable Moments October 2010

November 3, 2010 By Christie

The boys go around singing, “Hey, Soul Sister” around the house. I love that song and I love that the kids love it so much. Bailey calls it her song. Bailey fell the other day and hit her bum hard. She got up crying and say, “I hurt my bum. Kiss it!” I laughed and…

The Rest of Halloween ‘Round These Parts

November 3, 2010 By Christie

I went to both the boys’ Halloween parties.  I just don’t want to miss all the fun!    Dev’s team won—can you tell?  :)   Bailey of course was there, and sat by Dev during a spooky story.  He was so sweet and put his arm around her and played with her hair.  Even his…

Happy Halloween!!!

October 30, 2010 By Christie

Last night we had a bunch of friends and their children over for our first ever Halloween Party.  Everyone was to come dressed up, and everyone did!  That made it so much more fun, I think!   So I’m seriously looking like I’m about to fall asleep, but you can see my DI find for…

Carving Pumpkins

October 28, 2010 By Christie

From left to right:  Dillon’s, Carson’s, mine, Devon’s, and Bailey’s is the little bitty one.   The Plan:  Carson’s are on top, and Dev’s pictures are on bottom.  I love how Carson wrote the question mark and then YES! on the one he wanted to do.  I think they did a good job making their…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
