Williamson Family Reunion

August 9, 2010 By Christie

Or Whitelock, Brinkerhoff, etc.  It’s hard to know what to call it now!  Williamson sounds better than My Side o’ the Fam’s Reunion.  We went to Tanner’s Flat, which is a favorite with my family—it’s up Little Cottonwood Canyon and it is beautiful!  I think it’s the perfect spot   with kids.  It’s kind of a…

Hurst Family Reunion

August 9, 2010 By Christie

Man, I’ve deleted like half my pictures for this reunion, and I still have 142!!!  Crazy.  I didn’t even get pictures of the water fight and at Deseret Peak Pool either!  So I’ll just try and pick my favorites to represent the fun weekend we had for the Hurst Reunion.  We had the reunion and…

Bailey Update

July 22, 2010 By Christie

In the picture above, she told me, “I drive mommy.”   Bailey is so much fun. She is growing so fast–I can’t even believe how old she seems to be acting lately. She LOVES Elmo so much.  If I let her watch it, she’ll run to the couch, climb up and get situated and just…

Cousin Water Party

July 14, 2010 By Christie

Oh my goodness.  I definitely take WAY… a lot of pictures (I was about to say way too many, but it’s not like I regret taking that many).  So, I have quite a few new posts up—you’ll have to click older posts a couple times to get to all the posts!  But I’m caught up. …

Deseret Peak

July 14, 2010 By Christie

The pool at Deseret Peak is really fun—a little windy, but fun:).   It closed to the public for all the county employees and their families to come swim, and so we were able to go because of Jerry.  They fed us and let us swim for hours.  We were there for 4 and I got…

How To Train Your Dragon

July 14, 2010 By Christie

The kids waited a LONG time for this movie to finally come to the dollar theater!  It was worth the wait and the $6.50 total for our family:).  Seriously, I thought it was such a cute movie, and both my boys LOVED it.  Devon said quite loudly at one point, “I LIKE How to Train…

Camping with the Gublers = Fun Times!

July 14, 2010 By Christie

Sabra and I had talked about going camping together sometime this summer, since it makes perfect sense with us all getting along so well—even the hubbies like each other so it’s a great combination of our kids being friends, Sabra and I being friends, and the men.  Perfect!  It actually happened—they invited us to go…

Love the Canyon!

July 14, 2010 By Christie

Sheila and Jerry were camping last weekend so we decided to go visit and roast some marshmallows.    Bailey didn’t love the fire at first, so she kept asking to see the horses.   The boys climbed on top of their camper.  And Carson kept yelling, “Victory is mine!!!”

July 4th Celebrations: Part Three

July 14, 2010 By Christie

I LOVE LOVE LOVE being close to fireworks, and that has been much more possible now that we live here.  Though this year was busier than others, it doesn’t even come close to the headache of traffic every other place is after fireworks.  So I love it.  Throw in some great friends, and you’ve got…

July 4th Celebrations: Part Two

July 14, 2010 By Christie

Our good friends, the Johnson’s, had a BBQ party at their house.  They rented this awesome water bouncy house that the kids loved—even despite the cold weather!  I love that kids don’t care about stuff like that!  My friend Kim took some of these pictures, so thanks for those!   Dev and Seth   Jackson…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
