Conversation with Bailey

February 10, 2011 By Christie

A couple weeks ago after I dropped the boys off at school… Bailey: “Wait!  I forgot to go to school!”  Me:  “You don’t go to school yet. You have to wait until you are older, Bailey.” Bailey:  “Oh…when I get a backpack?” Now fast forward to dinner today.  Bailey went to Devon’s class while I…

Bailey’s Date with the Dentist

February 10, 2011 By Christie

Me:  Bailey!  You get to go to the dentist today! Bailey:  Yea!  I go to the temple! Me:  Not the temple, honey.  The dentist.  Bailey:  And the king is going to look at my teeth! Me:  The king? Bailey:  Yah!  Piggy wants to go too! So she brought piggy, and fell asleep on my lap…

Love this Kid

February 8, 2011 By Christie

I love all my kids of course, but seeing as how Carson seems to be my most difficult, I need to write this post to let you all know that yes, I do love my firstborn so very much. He’s been doing so well in school—he got to be in the Club 100 which is…

Big Girl Bed

February 8, 2011 By Christie

Don’t let the joy and happiness oozing from these pictures fool you one bit. Bailey was climbing up onto the high parts of her crib and hanging around up there—either climbing on top of her dresser or just getting stuck.  I was afraid she was going to fall and figured now is as good as…

Devon’s such a good brother.

February 8, 2011 By Christie

He really, really is.  He tries to help Bailey so much, and most of the time she rejects it, but sometimes, she’ll let him help.  I didn’t ask him to change her diaper, but after he tried to potty-train her for a half hour, he put a new diaper on her.

Let’s Go to the Movies

February 8, 2011 By Christie

The kids both got excellent grades and improved on the things the teachers wanted them to socially or listening wise, so we had to celebrate!  We went to see Megamind at the Dollar Theater and then to McDonald’s afterwards.  Megamind was funny—a lot more-so to Dillon and I, but the kids liked it ok.  And…

Memorable Moments, January 2011

February 8, 2011 By Christie

Carson got out of bed for a bandaid, and so I went to check on him. Bailey wanted me to say goodnight to her and so after I put her back in bed I walked past the boys’ room and saw Carson covering up sleeping Devon with a blanket and kiss him on the forehead….

The Leprechauns

January 28, 2011 By Christie

My kids are starting early this year.  Carson just brought me my phone saying it was because he was being a leprechaun.  Then he said he already did two things as a leprechaun while I was down here.  Devon is asleep now, but before he fell asleep he gave me a handful of pennies and…

Devon is doing great with his reading!  I did this for Carson and so I am doing it for Devon as well—gotta post a video of his accomplishment!

Again…

January 21, 2011 By Christie

Bailey just saw these pictures on the computer and said (laughing), “Bailey’s gots makeups on.  Yah.  That’s so yucky.  Yah.”  The crappy part is that Dillon was with her upstairs but in the shower and so neither of us stopped her before she dumped out quite a bit of my liquid foundation which WILL NOT…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
