Some New Doctrine Taught Today

November 2, 2009 By Christie

Carson bore his testimony for the very first time today! He had to give a talk in primary and I asked if he wanted to add his testimony at the end, and he said he was too nervous in front of everyone. I said that primary was a great place to do it first because…

Memorable Moments October 2009

October 31, 2009 By Christie

*Sheila went to visit Carson in his class at school. He was playing with a friend on the floor and he looked up, saw her, and said, “Hi Grandma. This is my friend and classmate (so and so).” What a cute kid. *Carson and Devon saw a few leaves and immediately yelled, “Leaf pile!” They…

NieNie

October 30, 2009 By Christie

My friend Jenni talked a little about this girl Stephanie. I’m so glad you linked to her Jenni–thank you! She has a blog that will do more than inspire you a little bit. It is amazing. I have spent probably 2 hours total reading her blog. Amazing family. So inspiring. I can’t even put into…

Lots of Canning!

October 28, 2009 By Christie

I just wanted to take a picture of all the things I’ve canned this year. Or jarred. Why do they call it canning? Whoever “they” are (wink wink, Andrea and Rach). Anyways, I guess the jams weren’t canned, they were just frozen:). This picture is missing the strawberry jam and apricot jam from earlier this…

It’s Raining, It’s Pouring

October 28, 2009 By Christie

On Devon. Devon has strep–found out tonight. I’m so glad it wasn’t the swine flu like they originally tested for since it’s going around like crazy here. Yes, it could be worse. I know that–but he doesn’t know that, you know, being 4 and all. But seriously, he’s being such a trooper with everything. When…

Teddy Has a Friend

October 24, 2009 By Christie

Teddy has a friend, and Devon has a broken arm. That poor kid. He and Carson were playing outside on Thursday night and had an accident. Devon tipped backwards on his bike, and Carson fell on top of him. But Devon had his hand out in the back to catch himself. He broke his arm…

Lovin’ Halloween this year!

October 24, 2009 By Christie

I’ve found some really cute things to do for Halloween decor this year. I just thought I’d share some links because the boys and I have had a lot of fun doing some of them! I first saw these bats when in the hospital for Dev’s appendicitis. Dillon bought me a Country Living magazine and…

Fullness of the Gospel

October 19, 2009 By Christie

I just had to share the most amazing things from Relief Society yesterday, because the teacher really got us thinking about the time we are living. Sister Howard taught the lesson, and she is just amazing. Her testimony is rock solid. I love hearing her insights. She read a quote from Joseph Smith’s book, and…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
