Happy Birthday MOM!

September 8, 2009 By Christie

My mom is great. I’ve done a post on her before, about how much I love and admire her, and I think I’ll refer you to that post here. Otherwise, I’d like to say that I am so thankful to have been raised by such a wonderful person. I’m thankful that I had such a…

Preschool Planet!

September 1, 2009 By Christie

Devon started preschool. There are 5 of us moms who are doing it together, so we teach one week at a time, just twice a week. I’m excited because we have had meetings and planned a lot of fun things and we’re pretty organized, so it should be a good year, plus it’s saving all…

Memorable Moments August 2009

August 31, 2009 By Christie

Devon was looking at Jerry and Sheila’s bulls. One in particular that was looking back at him. Dev was staring, the bull was staring. Then Dev said, “What are you lookin’ at?” Carson’s kindergarten teacher is Ms. Harms. I told him this about lunch-time. That night, Dillon asked him if he knew who his teacher…

Great Sunday!

August 31, 2009 By Christie

(The clip above made me think a lot about how children can do such amazing things, especially if they are guided by the right people in their lives. I can’t seem to put my feelings into words about it, but it completely made me want to be a better mother, but not even just made…

Another One from the Benefit Concert

August 29, 2009 By Christie

I scanned this image. Devon was actually so so scared, but so quiet and just went along with it. Shrek told him to pretend that he was scared that he was going to eat him, and this is what he got. So cute.

Riverton Fundraiser

August 29, 2009 By Christie

The fundraiser for Julie went really well. My sister talked with some people in the ward who were helping, and the fundraiser made close to $10,000!!! That is so amazing. They told my sister that it should really help with nearly all of their bills for this year. To read more about the concert and…

Kindergarten!

August 28, 2009 By Christie

Carson had his “Meet and Greet” yesterday. His teacher is Ms. Harms from Minnesota. If you haven’t read it on the side yet, he said something so funny. Dillon asked him who his teacher was. Carson said, “I’m not sure. I think it’s Sister, I don’t know. Oh, it’s Ms. … Ms. … I think…

Picnic

August 28, 2009 By Christie

Dillon stayed in the morning before work last week and we got to go on a picnic. It’s just so much funner when it’s out of the norm. And before school started. He’s so busy these days. He had a little break of being crazy busy, but now has a ton of work lined up,…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
