Missionary FHE

November 6, 2007 By Christie

Last night was a pretty fun family night. I printed out a map of the world and talked to the kids about where they might go on missions. After Dillon told them about flying to England for his mission Carson pointed first to Mongolia, and then Madagascar to where he’d want to go, and Devon…

Big Brother

November 5, 2007 By Christie

Carson has, as of the last few weeks, really taken to his “big brother” role. He has always been a pretty good big brother, but let’s face it, siblings like to fight and they do their fair share. They have been getting along better and better though as they’ve gotten able to work things out…

First Crush

November 5, 2007 By Christie

Carson just has a thing for June. It started earlier this year when we discovered Little Einstein (we don’t have cable and so I just have some DVD’s and the boys became obsessed instantly). So it would start with him coloring her and then we’d put him to bed. He’d whisper to me, “Mom, can…

Trick or Treat!!!

November 1, 2007 By Christie

Before dinner we went to our wards’ Halloween Parade around the block. They got donuts afterwards. Devon didn’t want to do it, and Carson was already tired by the time we got to the park, and then had to march quite a long ways around. He was dead last coming back, as I predicted. One…

A 4 year old on a mission…

November 1, 2007 By Christie

So I was taking a shower upstairs when Carson found my camera. He took a total of 23 pictures. Usually when they are bored and make a big mess or something, instead of getting too angry, I grab the camera and take some photos so I don’t get so mad. Well, this time they were…

Carving Pumpkins

October 31, 2007 By Christie

This was great! The kids had a blast. The picture to the left is them looking at the insides. Carson had to say, “Ohhhh, you didn’t tell me you were going to kill it!” Our pumpkins weren’t the biggest from our garden, but we made them work. Carson drew the face on his and so…

Trick or Treating with the Animals at the Zoo

October 30, 2007 By Christie

And I don’t mean the animals at the zoo. I could not believe that I joined this crowd of insane people to get a measly 15 pieces of candy for the boys. Never. Again. Sure, the boys had fun, but when you factor in that it took 20 minutes to find a parking space 1/4…

Grandma Kathy’s Halloween Party

October 27, 2007 By Christie

My mom threw her grandkids a Halloween Party. She put a lot of time into it and the kids had so much fun. They always love getting with their cousins! (More pics of the cousins are posted on our Williamson blog). We made paper plate spiders that look really cute above our kitchen table. Grandma…

The Little Things that Make Me Smile

October 27, 2007 By Christie

A couple days ago I came down from getting ready to find Carson reading books to Devon (which is Devon’s most favorite thing to do–read books). He “read” to him for 40 minutes!!! It was so cute and I realized how much I love the simple things in my life that make me so happy….

FHE Cookie Making

October 27, 2007 By Christie

I just love the holidays! It is so fun to do a ton of crafts with the boys and just enjoy family time together. This was a little crazy getting these cookies made, I forgot a main ingredient (sour cream) in the sugar cookies–cause who knew the recipe would call for an odd ingredient like…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
