Cowboy Up!

September 5, 2008 By Christie

We didn’t know for sure what would be going on next week, so we decided to have Carson’s birthday party early so it would for sure happen. He had a Cowboy Party! It was a blast–especially since Dillon’s parents’ brought their horse Tiny for everyone to ride! Yah, spoiled huh…but it was free for us:)….

First Day of Preschool!

September 3, 2008 By Christie

Although Carson is nearly a full head taller than most kids his age, he is still 4 (until next week) and just starting preschool. Most people think he looks at least 6, one lady told me 7 last week. Crazy! He had a fun first day of preschool–I cried after dropping him off, and I…

Devon and Daddy night

September 3, 2008 By Christie

This past Saturday, Devon got to hang out with Dad. They went camping, and it was crazy windy and the tent kind of blew down on them all night–fishing was impossible, so they went for a hike. It was short trip because of the weather, but of course, Devon didn’t mind all that–he still had…

So Long Rosco…

September 3, 2008 By Christie

It happened…Rosco ran away. Now, many of you may think that I somehow arranged for this little event to happen, seeing as how I didn’t normally have kind words to say about the dog, but alas, I am saddened by it–but only because my kids are sad. The storm Sunday night must have spooked him…

2 Weeks to go! (Minus 1 day, but who’s counting, right?)

August 30, 2008 By Christie

I cannot believe that I only have 2 weeks left from yesterday. I was dilated last week to a whole whopping one centimeter, so it’s not looking too promising going early, I suppose. I’ve probably always been a one centimeter since I had Carson though :) ! I opted out on being checked this past…

Belly Hugs

August 26, 2008 By Christie

As I said before, my boys are always giving my belly hugs and talking to the baby. I thought that I might miss that once she’s here, so yesterday we took a couple pics.

One on One Time with the Boys

August 26, 2008 By Christie

I absolutely LOVE just having one on one time with my boys–especially when it means that Dillon has one of them and they get time with him as well. This last weekend was Carson’s turn to hang out with dad, and he got to go to Manti to one of Jerry’s last rodeo’s, then sleep…

Hooter Hiders

August 23, 2008 By Christie

What a great name! Makes me laugh. I know some friends who have wanted to or have made one, so I decided to give it a try since they seem pretty nice. They do look like a big bib, but they are cute nonetheless and work well, it seems. I think I’d make the straps…

Toilet Paper

August 23, 2008 By Christie

You know, toilet paper was invented for parents’ patience, I believe. I cannot tell you how many times TP has been the source of some cleaning up with my little boys! Carson had the middle brown cardboard part and was playing something with it. Devon decided he needed one. Okay, FOUR! So, I had just…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
