I love fairs, and I say that all the time, but summer-time is great, isn’t it? Dillon performed (sang and guitar) Thursday night at the fair, then Friday night was the rodeo, then Saturday was the Demolition Derby. My kids LOVE the Derby, and I normally do, but was a bit hot and tired from…
“This Ain’t My First Rodeo”
But it’s almost his last. Yes folks, Dillon’s dad told us at the reunion that this summer is his last one clowning. He has been doing this for many many years. I don’t have the tribute speech (yet) they read about him at the county fair this past Friday, but it was awesome. He is…
Where’s My Will Power? (Don’t Worry, No Spoilers!)
Apparently, I don’t have any. I was going to wait until this baby was born and I was sitting around nursing all day to read this book since I have so much to get done. I went out last night at 11:00 pm to buy it at Walmart. I’ve only finished the first book part…
Nothing Runs Like a Deere
I finished the boys’ room. I didn’t take pictures of their room or the baby’s room until I was just about to paint, cause I just didn’t remember, so they’re rooms didn’t really look this bad before I painted and decorated, but here are some before and after pics anyways! Some of it we’ve already…
Swim Lessons
This last week the boys started swim lessons. Carson is having a blast, and was from the start. Devon was another story (though still not as bad as Carson last year). Day #1: Devon screamed for me the whole time. I was not impressed with the teachers–they kind of just ignored him and made a…
Push-ups…kind of.
Devon Running
He’s a bit more graceful in this video than usual (his arms are unusually flap-less in this video), but I had to film it before his gross motor skills become more coordinated…
Sing to us!
Pioneer Day
I truly am thankful for the Pioneers. This year was a little neater for me because Dillon and I got to do sharing time that Sunday and we chose stories on the pioneers to tell. It was a great chance to learn more of their sacrifices! Dillon almost had as much fun as the boys…
Bunk Beds
In order to make more room for the boys in Carson’s small room, we got bunk beds. They occasionally like to sleep together on the full size (futon) mattress underneath, which is sweet. Devon sure looks comfy (a different night, however).
