All New Respect

January 8, 2010 By Christie

For wrestlers. Seriously, I’ve never thought all that much of wrestling, despite Dillon taking state twice in high school. He’s always told me that it takes so much self-discipline, and what an awesome, extremely difficult sport it is. I believed him (a little). The kid on the wall below makes me laugh. And now I…

Happy Birthday Eric!

January 8, 2010 By Christie

The last birthday of the year, Dec. 30th:). I love my little brother. He has always had such a laid back, funny attitude towards everything and everyone in life. He is one of the most sarcastic people I know, as well:). My best memories of him involve him being a great listener. I am still…

Loads of Christmas Fun!

January 5, 2010 By Christie

We had a great Christmas, as it seems like everyone did! I’ve loved looking at everyone’s pictures. I loved Christmas and spending so much time with family and friends. Gingerbread Houses Christmas Eve involved cookies for Santa, spreading out food for Santa’s reindeer, acting out the Nativity, and leaving notes in Jesus’ stocking saying what…

Author and Artist

January 5, 2010 By Christie

Devon wrote a book the other day. Well, actually, he first saw part of the Church News in the garbage that had a picture of Jesus calling his apostles. Devon took it out of the garbage and brought it in the room. It was folded so I couldn’t tell what it was. Devon said, “Mom,…

Memorable Moments December 2009

January 5, 2010 By Christie

Bailey loves to throw garbage away, along with books, spoons, stuffed animals, and ornaments. Bailey could hear Dillon through the vent in our kitchen while he was downstairs playing his guitar and singing. She walked over there and opened the cupboard, and peeked her head inside and said, “Mah?” (she still calls him Mah. It’s…

Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2009 By Christie

I hope your Christmas is Magical! What an amazing night that must have been when Jesus was born! I can imagine the angels singing, and us all singing and shouting for joy that our Savior was born. I have a testimony of our Savior. It truly is joyful news that Jesus came for us and…

What Shall We Give?

December 21, 2009 By Christie

My friend Suzie shared this on her blog, and I liked it so much I wanted to share it here, as well. I love the song in this…especially when the choir starts with the oohs and aahs in the middle (around 2:30 time)…so pretty! Here are the words. They are beautiful:What shall we give to the…

Wow, What a Christmas Season!

December 21, 2009 By Christie

The following pictures sum up nicely what we’ve been up to the past month! They are even in order:). Enjoyed dressing Bailey in this dress from Rachelle. Went to see some friends and family in their Nutcracker Ballet. I took the boys, and they LOVED it. Everyone did great. Devon kept clapping SO loud and…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
