Check this out!

August 2, 2008 By Christie

My friend Angie has family members who are fighting cancer. She has an awesome website where they make boxes (non-profit) filled with photos and quotes to cheer up cancer patients. You can even donate supplies if you are interested in helping out. In order to get people to know more about her website, she is…

Weak Stomach? Skip this one…

August 1, 2008 By Christie

After swim lessons today (which I also need to blog about, but I just need to get this one out!) I wanted to quickly run to Walmart for a couple items we needed. The boys were still in their swimsuits but since it was quick, it wasn’t a big deal, right? RIGHT???We get there and…

Memories

July 25, 2008 By Christie

I’ve been seeing a lot of people doing this, and thought I might as well join in the fun:). Obviously, you don’t have to do #2 if you don’t want to! 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a…

Redneck Roundup (or the Hurst Reunion)

July 22, 2008 By Christie

For the Hurst Reunion this year we went up Ophir Canyon. We had a fun-filled couple of days. The kids couldn’t get enough of it and were sad to leave. There are LOADS of pictures, so bear with me! The kids loved driving the 4-wheeler (Rhino). Dillon and I and the boys took it up…

Mamas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys

July 16, 2008 By Christie

Well, this mamma isn’t listening (that is a title of a song, for those of you who don’t know it). I was lucky enough to snatch myself my own cowboy, or at least a great country boy, which I only dreamed of since they are so darn sexy. These boys of ours are following daddy’s…

Overwhelmed–any suggestions for me???

July 16, 2008 By Christie

So I made a list of all the things I’d like to get done before baby #3 comes. Wow, it’s a long list…one that would take much longer than the 8.2 weeks I have left. So, let me just ramble and maybe it will make me feel better. If anyone has suggestions on how to…

Oh Deer

July 13, 2008 By Christie

Devon had a nightmare…not just any nightmare that we were able to convince him that life was going to be okay, but this deer in his dream stole his favorite red blankie. Poor kid must have heard Carson and I in the car-ride home talking about deer while he was sleeping and had a bad…

Who’s Your Favorite???

July 13, 2008 By Christie

I love So You Think You Can Dance! It is such a fun show and I really love that it makes me wanna get myself back into some sort of non-pear like shape (I do realize I’m 7 months pregnant, I just would LOVE to be in such control of my body!). Anyways, I just…

We’re BACK!!!

July 13, 2008 By Christie

It’s earlier than we had planned on, but I couldn’t be happier to be home, and not only that, Dillon is home now as well. Reno was fun and I’m glad we had the opportunity to earn some extra money, but even this week when I went back, the smoke from the fires in CA…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
