Heber Trip and a fun weekend all around…

July 7, 2008 By Christie

My mom reserved the YW cabins up in Heber for a night and a couple days. We had a ton of fun up there. Before heading up, on the 4th, we went bright and early to fight the herds of people to see the hot air balloons. They started earlier than what was posted online,…

The Baby Borrowers

July 3, 2008 By Christie

So, I was a bit saddened when I couldn’t get So You Think You Could Dance to show up on our TV (yes, we still have bunny ears okay!). I did get the digital thingy that you are supposed to, but it just doesn’t want to add channel 13 to it!! Anyways, while a bit…

Fun Weekend!

June 30, 2008 By Christie

Dillon was also home this weekend, because he was asked to sing at the Arts Festival in Tooele on Saturday. He did an awesome job–I took some pics, but also recorded the two songs that he wrote for me and sang there:) (well heck, they didn’t download from my camera onto the computer for some…

My Thoughts

June 27, 2008 By Christie

What I’ve missed: -Family -Friends -Feeling comfortable having 2 kids and being pregnant–I can’t tell you how many people have asked me if I was done and made comments that they couldn’t believe I was having another one (kind of rude actually!!!). I even had one lady say, “So…do you like kids?” No, I just…

Truckee River one more time…

June 27, 2008 By Christie

We had to go to the river again, since the pool is fun, but I don’t want to get tired of it. The river water was cold, but they didn’t seem to mind too much (6/24).

Pirate FHE

June 27, 2008 By Christie

What?! Well, we went to a used book store, and Carson chose this fun little (and a bit strange) book called “Grandma and the Pirates”. It’s about how this Grandma made great noodle pudding (YUCK!!? I ask you, would that be sweet or savory?) and the pirates smelled it and kidnap her and how her…

Virginia City

June 27, 2008 By Christie

Virginia City is a fun little mining town that is totally for the tourists now (although they have a high school even though it’s tiny, so I guess the tourists keep the place going)–it had a bunch of old buildings–I think it was all established in the late 1800’s. It was a great time!!! (6/22)…

Bajio Dancing

June 27, 2008 By Christie

Okay, we went out to eat at Bajio. I guess while Dillon took the boys in the bathroom, Carson realized while his pants were down that they were playing some great music that he really enjoyed. So, both Devon and Carson, with pants down still, started dancing in the bathroom. I was still eating when…

Breakfast and Kung Fu Panda

June 27, 2008 By Christie

Dillon loves a big breakfast buffet, so we went to the Peppermill for a breakfast on the 21st. The casino was pretty cool, and we kind of got lost on an upper floor that had a bunch of machines that no one was one and lights and mirrors. Carson said the most random thing…”This place…

Father’s Day!

June 27, 2008 By Christie

We made Dillon breakfast in bed for Father’s Day–I could not ask for a better dad for my kids. He is so patient with them, yet firm when he needs to be! I am so thankful for him and I know the kids just love him to pieces! They really missed the daddy side of…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
